A commission with Dog Kennel Hill Primary School and Bow Arts, March 2020.
I worked with Years 4 and 5 to design and create a permanent artwork for their library made from recycled materials. Through an initial design session, both year groups made observational drawings of leaves, designed ideas for tree sculptures and tried out weaving with recycled plastic bags. Each class then spent a session weaving leaves with recycled fabric strips and scrim which I assembled together. Every child created a unique leaf through their choice of fabrics and arrangement.
A commission with Kobi Nazrul Primary School in partnership with Bow Arts, December 2019.
I worked with Year 5 to design and create a permanent artwork in their stairwell. We explored the markings of a snow leopard through observational drawing, markmaking and collage. We then created the leopard’s coat by layering Correx in tessellating hexagons and weaving strips of felt through a chicken wire armature.
In partnership with Bow Arts, I delivered weekly art lessons to all KS2 year groups at Wellington Primary School in Bow and Year 6 at Childeric Primary school in Lewisham.

Using the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs as a starting point, I worked with Year 4 to develop ideas and a design for their dinosaur. We then used spray painted plastic Correx to create scales in tessellating patterns, before attaching them to a wire armature.
